Assuming the snow holds out, I will lead an *intermediate* cross-country ski trip to Gov. Dodge S.P. on Saturday 1/9/10. We will meet at Park Street Circle at 9 AM, and either be back by 5 PM or 7 PM depending on whether people want to stop for dinner at the Grumpy Troll. If interested, just show up at Park St. Circle and bring $5 for gas if skiing only; $15 extra if you want to eat at the Grumpy. Please be aware that this is a more aggressive cross-country skiing trip. Make sure you have lunch, snacks, water (packed so it won't freeze) and dress in layers. Plan on skiing ~15 mi. Beginners are welcome as there are a few short trails suitable for training, however, I am not planning on spending more than around a half-hour with instruction before heading out on some of the longer trails.
