This is a reminder that there will be a trip to Blue Mounds State Park for candlelight ski/snowshoeing . Meet at the PSC at 4:45 to get gear. Drive to Blue Mounds and exercise for a couple of hours, then stop at the Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb for dinner and beverage. They serve very good pub food and excellent beer.
The club has lots of XC skis, and right now there are 3-4 pairs of snowshoes (the backpackers took most of the shoes to NC to hike the Appalachian Trail). First come/first served on the snowshoes. If you own some, please bring them.
Cost will be $4-5 for gas and park entry... is no charge for skiing or snowshoeing. Dinner at the Troll will cost around $10, but more if you are having beer.
We'll be back in Madison by 10 pm.
No sign up, just show up. Dress for cold weather.
