So Brint and company did a wonderful thing in clearing off a broomball pitch for us all on Mendota. We shall reward this act of kindness by making often use of it.
Tomorrow (Thursday) I'll grab the gear from the upper cage at 8 so come join us for a low key, high fun game of broomball. Its a simple game: use the "broom" to shoot the "ball" into the opponents goal. The only complication is that this is done in sneakers on ice. Which makes it amazing.
Dress in layers, non-cotton if you can. Hat gloves. Sneakers are good, boots would work too but sneakers are best for this sport.
Email me if you have questions. If one of those questions is, "I have never played before, would I have fun?" then the answer is yes!
