Lake Jumping: Are you INSANE!?!?!? Don't worry you're NOT ALONE!

LAKE JUMPING, FRIDAY, CREW DOCKS, 7 PM!
Did you know that In ancient times, when man would fight polar bears barehanded in order to prove themselves, they would jump into icy cold water in preparation in order to numb their pain, tighten their skin to make them look more freicious, and get the adrenaline they needed to win? It's also known that in ancient times women would perform a ritual where they would dive into the icy depths because they believed that by embracing the cold sooner rather than later, the fates would give them a warmer year ahead where it didn't start to snow in October already! So COME, embrace your ancient heritage, and help stave off October snows next year!!!!
Well nobody has taken up the flag yet for the Monday night lake jumps, and unless I change my climbing schedule that won't work for me anyhow. So if you're insane, have a swimsuit, a towel, and a hankering for some flash-cold-induced adrenaline rushes then come on down to the crew docks for some lake jumping!
Where: Crew docks. It's those 2 big piers on Mendota behind the boat house next to the dorms. If you're at Memorial Union facing the lake just take a left and walk down the lakeshore trail and you'll be there after about a quarter mile or so.
When: I'm thinking 7pm would be best for a Friday so that people will have time to go off and do whatever it is they do on Friday nights afterwards. If people would prefer it at the traditional 9:45 that works too, but I'm going to assume you're all going to want to be partying (ie: trailbuilding and hiking :D) by then.
How do we warm up? When you get out of the water, you immediately dry off with a towel. Then when we're all done we head on into one of the dorms to chat and have hot chocolate.
If nobody shows up, no problem, I'll probably just change my climbing schedule and do it at the traditional time on Mondays at 9:45 PM instead.
