I confirmed that there is a release on the Cheoah River (near Asheville, NC; class IV) on Saturday Nov. 7. Would anyone be interested in running a 3-day weekend trip to the southeast in early November for this and other great rivers? The release is only for one day, and candidate rivers for the other days might include the Ocoee, French Broad or Nantahala. This will be a private trip unless someone with a the appropriate leader rating is willing to lead (in which case, the trip would probably only be open to R4s).
