I am teaching a Kayak Lake Lesson at the Pool Session this Sunday (11/1); this lesson earns you your Lake Rating in a whitewater kayak and is the prerequisite for the Sea Kayak Skills Lesson (SK0). Meet at the boathouse at 12 noon instead of 1 PM so we can review the ground-based part of the lesson and choose boats before taking them to the pool. To sign up for this lesson, please e-mail me (kfrubert@wisc.edu) *and* purchase a Pool Session ticket ($5) from Hoofers at the Outdoor Programs Office. When you show up on Sunday, please remember to bring a change of dry clothes, a swimsuit and a towel. Noseplugs, a warm-when-wet top such as a hydroskin and a lock for your gym locker are highly recommended.
